Wireless distributed control system for pyrotechnics, special effects, and lighting.
The Aegis Control System is the newest innovation in
pyrotechnics and show control from FireLinx. The Aegis
System combines safety, reliability, and flexibility that
surpasses all other firing systems on the market.
Safety: Twenty ways traditional firing systems
could fire unintentionally. Aegis handles all twenty mechanisms,
most firing systems handle only two or three. Nine zeros safe (probability
of unintentional firing less than 0.000000009), as well as critical
features for liability conscious (target rich) environments.
Reliability: FireLinx pioneered wireless mesh networking
for pyrotechnics in 2004. We store data at end nodes rather than transmit.
Patents granted and pending. Priority algorithms for control and synchronization.
Modules are specialized for the task, for permanent or temporary site plans.
Lowest RF loading at show time means highest reliability. Proven in extreme
RF and physical environments.
Flexibility: Any module imaginable can be created and used
with the Aegis System. Pyro, special effects, lighting, DMX, float control,
GPS positioning, access control, wind monitoring, and the list goes on.
Actor enables and actor firing controls can be used while still under the
control of an operator override. Complex logic enables and firing controls
give the user as much safety as they could possibly need. Everything is integrated
under one controller, but it also plays well with others.
